Went to the cliff top for breakfast with Mag and there was a couple of kiters and a windsurfer out but were struggling abit as the wind was onshore and the wind lighter than they thought!!! It was low water and the sea looked great I decided to give it an hour-big mistake !!! By the time I had rigged 7.5 on the xantos the tide was coming in with a big break but i made it off the beach fine and headed toward the Fludgers and the waves were great but pushing you to the beach,I turned by Cobbolds Point and realised I was not going to make it back upwind so I turned again and ended up right on top of one of the rock groynes and luckily I was washed over the rocks with the only damage a couple of holes in my beloved xantos !!! (must see if I can get one off ebay cheap) I packed up and walked the mile back to the van as I was not going to risk launching as the groynes close together and the swell big !!! Not one of my better days !!!
